After finding that I could not get the insight to display an accurate mpg reading I called Edge for advice. I was advised that the 2010 does not move data the same way as earlier LMM's and that the Insight will not give accurate fuel info on 2010 units.:mad:

The tech indicated that changes were coming for CS and CTS units, but he did not think the Insight would be updated for the 2010 LMM's.

Quick question, what is different how the insight measures MpG over the DIC?

Insight is supposed to provide 'Instantaneous MPG' rather than 'average since last reset'. I got used to this feature which was included with the enhanced DIC (steering wheel controls) on the 2004.5. 'Instantaneous' feature was discontinued on later classic style, and as far as I know is not available on NBS trucks.
