Before I get the search before you post lecture. I'm working on the 99-02 controls.

Looks like it can be done. Question is has it, and what do I need?

It still has manual controls but you can set the temperature. I have heard that its really involving and not worth it.

IIRC, it won't work. The systems are different. There were auto controls in those years but I know you can't just take the control unit and swap. The auto systems use a couple different parts but I can not remember which ones.

In my case, I don't like the climate control. Too much screwing around to change the temp for the defroster during the winter. The manual controls would work better.

From what I see there are 4 sensors to install. I'm trying to find out if the temp control door is different, and what to do with the resistor for the blower. Guess I gotta look at one of each and dismantle them both. Luckily I have one of each. Just was hoping someone had done it before.

Post this up if you get it done. I have considered the doing the same because of the 03 dash upgrade to fit my double din radio conversion.
