For those who do this at the track, how far down do you go? Do you crank them back up at the track before going home? I have the SD sleeves but I should lower the t-bars also?

I have the SD Sleeves and still Crank the bars down at the track.
I turn the torson bar screws down 5 full turns at the track. You can measure how many turns till the screw is loose and go back a half to one full turn to keep tension on the screw. My truck takes 6 full turns to be loose so I go 5. Just turn each side the same up and down. Right it down if you must or you may be needing an alignment, so they tell me.
From experience I found it is important to jack up the side your turning the torsion bar screw to keep from wearing the screw threads out. May not be so important going down but it makes it a lot easier going up.
For the record I have driven 35 miles to the track with the bars down, but I don't recommend doing this. Tracks "funny".

Thanks for the info. I cranked them down at track, drove home (40 miles) and put them back up this morning. Was very simple and lowering them did made a big difference in how smooth the 4x4 runs were. Especially important since I have a 4" lift. First time at track and did a 13.7 and 13.8 runs. My R/T and 60's sucked but I'm sure I could improve given enough practice. Overall I was happy. Also dyno'd same day at 500hp/1018tq Actually my HP was 499.5 but I rounded up :)
