im am sorta new to the whole deisel scene and i just put a 4 cat delete front pipe on my 04 lb7 i live in caifornia and did have a cat and i hear guys talking about the check engine light coming on because of the finger stick or egr plate, my light has not come on so i am just interested why i would not have this problem? just tryin to learn

finger sticks are for lly's only. Basically, when you block the egr on an lly you get a light. The finger stick is a way to advoid the light. Grab a bowl of popcorn, a beer or two, do a search on finger stick. You will be reading for a while. You can also to a search on egr blocking plate for more reading pleasure.
