HI All
I had an old Mitsubishi that I ran on WVO but I now have a 1990 6.2. I am going to remove all the WVO equipement from the old truck and use it on the 6.2
I am in the early planning stages so I have a few question.
On the Frybrid forum it is reccommended that the diaphram pump on the engine be replaced with an electric one because if the diaphram breaks it will fill the crankcase with WVO. Has anyone done this, does anyone think it is neccessary and would it be doable by an amatuer?
Is there a fuel pump in the fuel tank? What happens when I switch to WVO?
my setup will be
A WVO tank in the bed with a heated pickup>HOH lines>fuel pump on the fuel line?>heated filter>flat plate HE>electric pump to replace mechanical?>IP (plus some valves of course)
I am in Canada so I need a cold weather system!
Thanks
Peter
