I have a 01 2500HD with exhaust and im just wanting to get some good power out of it without going to far that it would go into limp more or fry something. What is the most i can do to it before i should start building the tranny(people are talking about limp mode and dont know what causes this)? I am looking into the Edge juice with monitor and then i saw the xcelerator but that one looks to be to powerfull for a stock tranny. I am not looking to have a race truck just something to have fun in....Any help would be appreciated....Just got into the diesel scene and trying to get everyones .02 cents....TIA....

The Edge/Attitude would be a fine choice.

Egde is good, bully dog is good. I have the bully dog, it seems to bring power in at higher rpms. I just got the Edge and it seems to have it low to mid rpm range. From what i can tell so far the Bully dog is better on fuel since it doesnt bring in power unless you mean it.I left it set on the 50hp setting and could never tell the tranny was slipping. The bully dog is for sale if interested.
