We have a 09 LMM that the dpf is removed and the engine light came because of it, so I got a stealth 2 and loaded up the stock tune with no dpf so I could get rid of that light, well the light is still coming on. It's the p2033 code. I erased it and it stayed off for a few days but its back on again now. Any idea's?? DO i have to reload the tune maybe?? Thanks

The 09 seem tricky for some reason. Did you unplug the pressure differential sensor? If it is I would plug it back in and try to erase the code to see how it does. Also maybe the EGT sensors may need plugged back in. Give that a try if they are off the truck. If not then maybe disconnect them and see what happens.

Could you explain where the pressure differential sensor is?? I got the truck this way so not sure what was plugged where. Also egt sensors?? Sorry I'm pretty clueless when it comes to this. I noticed there are two plugs that there is nothing plugged into. One is on the passenger frame rail right by the middle cab mount and the other one is right below the very front of the bed by the center frame crossmember just dangling down.

Wow might be tricky now. The pressure sensor was up in the bottom of the bed area. It had to hoses that came off it to the DPF. Probably be about the end of the Allison and on the passenger side. Seems most have to plug the sensors in to get rid of the codes even though the tuner is suppose to do that. The easiest fix be using EFILive to turn the DTCs off. Don't know of any near you that use EFILive. But that be a minumum of $100 for the license to make that change plus what ever they charge on top of that. Or you can get an Edge Race or PPE Race tuner but i first have the dealer or someone flash a stock ECM tune back in unless you have the Quad and can restore the stock tune and unmarry from the truck. Then you can see if there is an update on the Quad site for DPF delete tunes and update your tuner online and then flash your truck with the Quad to see if it is resolved. Moisture in the plugs and can issues if they are not sealed up good. You should find 3 total.

It looks like he had a tuner on the truck before I got it. I actually bought the quad myself and uploaded the tune since it was supposed to get rid of the code. Maybe i ought to put it back to stock and try reflashing again.

Hard to say if it had or has a non stock tune in it now and how the Quad handles that. Again tricky. You can can do as I said remove and unmarry and verify latest update and DPF tunes are on it. Then try again. If not again my come down to the sensors being needed to stop them with the Quad.

So if i'm understanding right, I should take the truck to dealer and get the computer reflashed back to stock and then use the quad and put the no dpf tune back on?

You may have to do that as a try thing to see if the Quad will work. I suggest calling Quad first to see what they may recommend. they may have a different non public release of their software update they may let you try. It is a guess on that. But to me if the sensors there or not a tuner should tune it out. I do not know quad tuning but to me I would with EFILive turn off the monitoring of that DTC. That is how it is done in EFILive. But all tuners are different. So give Quad a call and see what they say to try. But if you goto the dealer they can reflash it to a stock tune which of course will show it should have a DPF. So no idea if warranty is voided yet but may be after that but of course it is now anyways since a non stock ECM tune has been applied.
