i was just wondering if you could hook up a boost controller up in the cab. i know they do that for car but never heard of one for a diesel. thanks

LLY's have a VVT turbo that does not have a wastegate, so a conventional electric wastegate controller won't work.

You could intercept the MAP sensor signal and modify it with a knob, which might work, but it's beyond me.

McRat is right on top of it, but an RCH off. At first I thought the LLY used a MAP sensor, but it turns out it uses a barometric pressure sensor and a boost sensor. I am sure you could rig up something so the computer would create more boost via dial control. Obviously the tuners/boxes are able to pump up the boost, pick off the signals and I am sure you could too. Fingers suggested a variable resistor inline with the sensor you wanted to mess with.

So get out your pocket knife and some wire and have at it!
