I have a rattle that sounds like it's coming from my VIN plate on the windshield. This only happens when it's cold outside 35 degrees or less.

Maybe that rubber flap near the hood hinge is flapping when it get's cold and stiff?

no my hunk of american made junk rattles allover.....runs good though
