k i think my truck is boosting to much is not able to throw enough fuel to compensate i cant put this truck to the floor without making 20+ psi wich is bad lol
can someone please tell me what i can do about this ?

1) turn down your turbomaster
2) or fix your wastgate controller
3) Stop putting it to the floor
4) Buy a Duramax!

I didn't think a GM turbo would put out 20+ psi. I figured about 15-16 max....

A GM-X turbo will put out more then 20 PSI, not much more but it will. It is not recommended though lol, it is just recommended to go no higher then 13-15 psi because the turbo becomes too inefficient at pressures higher then that.

To the OP...

Do you have turbo master or stock wastegate system? If you have turbo master, make it so there is less tension on the spring so you will have lower boost. If you have stock (vacuum operated) wastegate then I would make sure that your wastegate solenoid is working correctly, if it is working correct I would probably say that maybe its the tune SSD has that is creating those pressures....

ok well i have the factory wastegate system on the truck the problem isnt that its making that much boost more that it doesnt seem to have to much power 50 - 60 mph it will accel faster if im easy on it and keep it in od rather then let it downshift and keep the boost under 17 psi with my foot so should i be looking into a boost controller??

I will say that on the highway my truck will pull better in OD than in 3rd. I think its probally just a matter of gearing. if you let the torque that your motor does make work for you it will pull pretty good when you are in that rpm range I think peak torque is somewhere around 1800rpm someone can chime in with a exact number. when you kick it down into 3rd and your running 2500-3000rpm you may be making more horsepower but less torque which may be what is causing the situation that you are describing.
