For those running propane, did you install the propane hose through the rubber grommet where the air filter indicator goes or did you just tap the intake tube? Thanks!

if you go in the air ibntake ,it will go in befor a sensor and could cause problems,

Mine is in the air box, just make sure to run the hose past the sensor. Makes a easy install.

Mackin...I like what you have but I assume you had that all fabbed up. I am not sure that I can tap the AFE intake tube and have it last.

Install it in the "Filter Minder" grommet. Then fish it up about 12 inches past the MAF sensor. Then it will be easy to return it to stock if you need to.

Most people will never notice it.

That is my first choice. Thanks for the input. Now....where to mount the tank? Too many decisions. : )

Dittos on installing after the MAF sensor. The oil in the propane will foul the sensor. I put the inlet in the plastic airpipe just ahead of the turbo.

Hey guys, I was thinking about adding a water/meth inj. kit for my 01' duramax. In addition I was also considering a powershot 2000 propane sys. as well. I will only have a transgo shift kit for the tranny. They claim the allison will be good up to 600hp. If I get the powershot I will install a tank under the bed. I don't plan on sucking propane all the time. What do you think? Is this too much to not use all of the time.
I also am going to get an edge juice (looking into hot juice), and a turbo valve or big head wastegate. I still have to do more research on the valve and wastegate.
Is there anything I am missing? Any help will be good. I am trying to build this for efficiency and performace but the 38" tires I found will hurt the efficient part on that one.
Right now I just have the turbo downpipe, 4"banks exhaust, and a cheap programmer.

you better invest in a tranny upgrade, with the va110 tune and propane i think it feels close to a 200hp increase over stock, when pulling our trailer, and very good torque, your stock tq converter will never take it, trust me on that
