Alright, I don't care for the color of my propane tank. Has anyone ever had one powder coated or painted black? Or maybe even Line X'ed? What do you think would look best? The powder coating may be a problem. I think that I am going to install it in the bed of the truck with the nitrous bottle. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Under the vehicle, it can be Line-x'd or painted black. In the bed, where it will absorb heat, it should be a light color.

It will be under a hard tonneau cover if I put it in the bed.

Just make sure you pipe your relief valve out the bottm of your bed. You don't want the bed area under the tonneau cover to hold the vapor if the tank vents. Light colors are always best. Been in the propane business for 20 years now. So I have seen a few of these.
