I knew my care package was coming on a truck back from the US today so I decided to take a chance and take my trans out today.
Truck showed up a few minutes ago so I opened the packages.
Two boxes. One with the torque converter and one with the Steels.
I am missing Transgo, gaskets, etc etc.
So now I need to find this stuff tomorrow so I am not without my truck for a week. Censored
I should have known better.......Nobodys fault but mine.
I doubt I will be able to find a transgo locally so my truck will probably be down until wednesday or so.......
Great.
So can somebody give me a parts list of things I need to find tomorrow?
I know I need a transgo. I already have a gasket for between the transfer case and the trans, and I have a internal filter here as well. I will have to pick up a spin on but that is no big deal.
What other gaskets do I need?

I thought the kit included gaskets but maybe I was wrong. It's not listed on their site under Level 3.

Looks like the transgo is supposed to have the gaskets?

If anyone has connections that could help me find a transgo for Friday or Saturday I would be forever in their debt. Does anyone know of any suppliers in Winnipeg Manitoba? Or anywhere in Canada for the matter?

Transgo kit comes with the case/pump gaskets.
IIRC there should be three.

Thanks for the help guys. Turns out I found a transgo kit locally. I can't believe it! I will have all the parts I need in a couple hours.
Eric and Joe really went out of their way to try to make it right. They offered to overnight a kit with Saturday delivery but unfortunately I still don't think it would make it here until Monday.
Now they are going to pay for the kit that I buy or send me one to replace it my choice. It's really good to have them back you like that no questions asked. If this is my only hurdle I will make out all right.
Thanks Joe and Eric!

I just finished watching season 5 again. I was a bit disappointed when I watched it on HBO the first time around but the second time I loved it! I think I was expecting too much on its release. You'll love it!
I wathched all 4 seasons again before I watched season 5. I would watch season 4 again at least. It's amazing how much you forget and you get right back into it again.

I would love to but the whole thing takes a lot of time. Especially on your first one when you are trying to be carefull and not f anything up. Taking pics is a royal pain in the a$$ because you have to stop what you are doing, clean your hands and snap some pics. If I did one again I might feel more comforable and maybe get a 3rd person to snap pics.
I have around 10 hours in it so far and I am roughly 1/2 done. I think the reinstall is going to be a but quicker but I bet all together I will have between 15-20 hours into it. I am sure if I did a few of them I could get it down to 1/2 the time. That is with 2 guys too. I wouldn't want to do this for a living.
