Has anyone installed a AFE stage 2 ? Any real gains over a stock box with a good filter in it ? ie is it worth the 400 plus buck msrp ? Do any of our sponsers carry them . Thanks

I have the SS , not that impressed more turbo noise really no more pulling power , and my exhaust temps went up a bit .

It seems that the stock airbox may be better in hot towing conditions due to some of the responses I saw in there. My biggest problem with that system is the $400 or some crazy price. I don't believe its a great improvement over what you have in yours now but hey, I could be wrong.

How's that heath chip?? I just ordered one.

The heath chip and the turbo master I did last summer were the best up grades yet . I was running another brand of chip and it just didn't really improve that much over stock . I judge my truck loaded going over the cascade mountains with a 9 1/2 foot camper and a boat behind .

The one boner I did was I was in a big hurry to get my intake and cooling system swapped out because I'am in the process of moveing to Spokane Wa. and I'am trying to keep my motor cool . Well I didn't want to pack anything extra .... so the stock box got chucked:badidea: , Going over snoqualamie pass my pyro was 100 degrees warmer:mad: and it was a cool day . the only up side was my engine temp stayed were it should so that made me breath a little easier .

Anybody got a stock air cleaner box and rubber coupler that will fit a 94 they want to unload ?:help:

Get one for a 97 and up they have the cylindrical clamp on filter and not the stupid panel filter like the 96 and earlier ones do
