: replacement leather?

Hey guys, I just picked up a 2005 LLY crew cab with cloth interior and I want to install a leather interior. Who makes a good kit to recover the seats? I was holding out for a 2006 with leather but this truck was to good to pass up with 37k miles for $23k, on top of that it was owned by an old man who used it as his family vehicle, never towed a thing with it. Anyways with that being said, is there any aftermarket companies that make a good product or should I go to a GM dealer?

Thanks Guys

no personal experience but I've read nothing but good reviews about katzkin covers

Thanks guys, I can't believe I didn't think of Katskinz. Underlord, the interior in your truck came out really nice, I checked them out and it came out to $739 shipped for the package I want, seems very reasonable. Thanks again.

Nice, let us know how it comes out. Are you doing the install yourself?

Yup, it's well worth it. I have a semi-how-to thread if you search for "katzskin". The guys are great, they'll call you to make sure they know exact interior setup you have.

Took me about 12-15 hours over a weekend. It's not hard at all.

I did Katzkins on my 05 crew cab and it was really nice.
Pretty easy to do yourself also.

My Katzkins showed up a little while ago and they seem like a quality
product.Would also recommend these covers.
Just waiting for my heated seat kits to arrive, then i can start installing
my new covers.

Thanks everyone for the replies. I'm gonna do the katskinz, from what i've heard over the years and seeing how underlords self install came out i'm pretty much sold.

Not a problem, the kit comes with no directions, so hit up this thread (http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/showthread.php?t=353302) for tips.
