Has anyone else had a problem with their switch in an LBZ? I just installed mine and cant get it to work. I only ran one wire to the ecm and ive triple checked it, its pushed down in there. I can pull on it a little bit and it doesnt come out. The other wire I have grounded under the hood. Ive done a full flash and still nothing.

I would make sure your have it in the correct pin on the ECM connector. I would be that's more than likely the problem. Did you hear a "click" when you inserting the the pin? Remember it goes into the "signal" position.

Here is the link to EFILive's DSP Doc:

You can confirm the signal is the right one you have the pin put in.

Does it matter which wire goes in the signal position? I mean just as long as you have one thats grounded? No I didnt hear it click but i thought maybe it was in there good enough if you cant really pull it out

No, as long has you have 1 one of the wires in the signal position it should be ok. Yes, you should hear a click when it goes in. I did at least.

I guess ill pull it back apart and see if i cant get a click out of it. I messed up one of the pins pushing on it so i had to go to the other wire. They only go in one way dont they

Yea, if your having to really force it then you have the pin turned the wrong way. I broke two pins doing mine until I got it turned right. Luckily I had some extra pins. I would almost be you have the the pin in the wrong hole or it's not seated all the way.

If your going to pull it out be careful because they don't like to come back out. I've had a few break off in the connector and had to push out the other side with a needle.

I open up the scan tool on the laptop and do the record data and the Value of the DSP2 is "No" Idk i took the pin out and put it back in and pushed on it pretty hard with a small allen wrench then gave it a little tug and it didnt move. I still didnt hear a click. I know its gotta be going in the right way or else it wouldnt go in as easy.

No means it is in the base tune. When switch circuit completes then it say yes for the DSP tune.

Check your ground. My bet the signal wire is in the wrong slot.

Alright so im still having pin problems and I want to make sure i have the right pin location so its not my fault. For those of you who installed your 2 position switch wire, did you put it right above that pink wire?

Just from looking at the EFILive docs where that picture is from I would say as you as your on the second row from the bottom and 4 pin from the right you would be right.
