Well the biggest piece of junk I have ever bought (out of necessity at the time) finally croaked. Is there anything better out there to interface my steering wheel controls to my Avic D3?

Really! Very surprised guys. I have several Pac SWI-PS, SWI-JACK interfaces that I've installed and never had one issue with any of them. How old are these units that are failing? Good info though so i can keep an eye on mine.

My first failed in 2 weeks, second in about a month... third I lost track but wasnt very long

The first one I got was bad out of the box. The second one lasted a couple of years, but required reprogramming about once every 2 months.

I thought I was on a roll with this one till it flaked out.

ive had the same one for 2 years now never reprogrammed it
