By now most of you should have seen what the new chassis and front suspension looks like. Opinions? I think there is no question the front end and chassis are going to be much stronger. I also like the fact that now there will be a number of torsion bars with different rates rather than only one. No idea if the front suspension travel has been improved. Brakes are bigger, and that is always good. Frame rails under the cab still look low, but I would rather 'high center' on a frame rail than a transfer case or driveshaft. Now that Ford has released the horsepower and torque figures for their 'third time is a charm' Powerstroke and 6.2L gas engine, I think we will see the 2011 figures for the LML Duramax and 6.0L gas engines soon.

I like the improvements, but like you said I wish the frame was more tucked under. I did notice the back floorboard is more flat so I guess the low frame is to surround the driveshaft. The GMT-800HD's have the hump in the middle.
I noticed the new ones are 1" taller in overall height. I like the new wheel choices, I just want to see what they look like and the availability with each package. I bet the 20's are only available on the LTZ's. I want the 18's anyways, cheaper on tires.
On the torsion bars, how do you know which t-bar rating you have and can you order one specifically?
I plan on getting one next spring/summer (prob a 2012). I'd like to wait til the next redesign but I can't wait any longer and who knows exactly when that will be.
I think the Duramax will come in at 400HP and around 720-730 ft-lbs of torque. I don't expect the 6.0L gas to match Ford's new 6.2L, but pretty close. I wish I could wait for the new 7.0L gas but I doubt that will be available by 2012.
I wish they had power fold/extend tow mirrors with lights on the outside but oh well.
