I've heard of people removing the muffler and installing a straight pipe. Is this ok to do, does it hurt anything? Thanks :duh:

Wont hurt anything. You may or may not like the sound. it personal preference but it wont hurt your motor. BTW I'm moving this to the exhaust section

I have been curious as to how the truck would sound and run if I went and found an LB7 front pipe and then just straight piped my truck.

It is only 1/2" difference from the 4" systems and I really don't "think" that will make much difference on a basicly stock truck.

Might save me a little cashola!

Just a thought..
