Hello all. Just got a new '05 HD. After the intial break in I want to add some performance tunes. From my research here in the forum it looks like 65HP for any tuner is the maximum that you want to throw at the tranny. Some my question is really twofold. What programmer should I buy and what is the rough cost of upgrading my tranny. I will not be drag racing the truck, but I would like to run some of those 125+HP programmers from time to time for some good street kills. Thanks in advance. G

P.S. I already have a Banks 4" exhaust installed.

You can run more than that depending on what product you select to buy. The Edge Juice/Attiude for example has a slippage indicator and a defuel function to protect the tranny. We have seen that you can on average run 90-110 HP and unless you plan to dog it from every stop light not have any tranny problems.
