I have an 03 duramax 2500 auto 4x and thinking about an exhaust brake. Any advice, pro's & con's or product would be appreciated.

If you plan on doing alot of heavy towing, the exhaust brake is a must have!! My 4500 came stock with one and I love it!!

The pro's are going to be
Less time on the service brakes
less down shifting of the tow haul
less stress towing.
3 to 4 Less brake changes over the life of the truck and trailer depending on how often you tow

The cons are less time working on the D-max.

The exhaust brakes are a great way to keep the service & trailer brakes cool thus enabling you to use them in a emerg without the fear of them being over heated and over worked
