: Where is Stock on Torsion Bars?

My T-bars are cranked fully. I am having the 315's removed and 265's put back on.

My question is... where is stock? do I back them out entirely so that the key is resting on the stop, or how many threads do I leave?

Also- should I back out the same exact number of turns, or should I back them both out all the way, then turn in the lower side to make the height even left vs right?

And Also - should 265/70/17 fit with stock setting?

thx, scott.

Mine with 265's was 38.5" tall at front fender. Just lower the truck and level it out side to side. You won't have any problems running those tires.

Mine with 265's is 37.5 to fender thru centerline of wheel ,39.25 with 7 turns . Rear is 39.5 . And yes it should hit the yellow jounce when stock

Kinda funny that the 3500 SRW's come from the factory 1" taller in the front!!
