Looking at a Kodiak with approx 200K miles. Was wondering what king of repairs are going to start popping up?
The plan would be to beef up the transmission and run EFI live. Maybe twins. What would be needed to make sure the engine stays relatively reliable?
Basically want to run the truck harder than normal and still be able to use it day to day. Just looking for preventative maintenance at 200K miles.

I have 124k on mine
So far the rear wheel bearings have been replaced, some rear grounding cables had to be replaced
,three injectors, air fixures and adaptors have been replaced, rust in the air tank, coolant hoses and fittings replaced,
The mechanic basicaly said lube the bearings every 50-65k, spray the exterior cables with waterproof silicon.

If a vehicle has more than 120k
I would start replacing gaskets spray and clean grounding wires and having the tanks cleaned out, flush the fuel and air lines, replace the tubings, radiator flush, axle grease and lub repacked and filled. This might be alot but it will make your truck run better and put you at ease. I ignored or just didnt know this stuff and had to pay out of pocket for new bearings injectors and compressors which was over 6k
