anyone use the MTX Sound processor? it plugs directly into your stock head unit to bring the bass alive and allow you to hook up after market amps to you stock head unit.

has anyone done this? does the sound quality sound remotely similar to an after market head unit? i'm looking into getting one of these in lieu of buying a hole new set up. i already have aftermarket speakers installed that i'm looking to hook up to an amp and have a sub amp and 2 12" infiniti kappas to install as well.

just wondering others opinions.

Pretty much the same as the units from JL, Alpine, Rockford and a few other units on the market. I've done installs using the JL, Alpine and Rockford units. They do a pretty good job. Let us know how it works out.
