What did the pipe come with? UPS put a few holes in the box for my pipe, and all I had in it was one bolt, two nuts and two flat washers. Mark @ DPPI wasn't sure what was supposed to be in it, but thought there should be four of: Flat Washers, Bolts, Nuts, Split lock washers. wouldn't the lock washers be ineffective unless one end could not turn?

Just got the pipe, no bolts, nuts, washers or gasket. Excellent product, no problem to install in less than an hour.

Yup... I'm DYING to put mine in. The kitty pipe just looks....NASTY. only problem is I (might) need another trip to the stealer to point out a leaking hose (I'm pretty sure it's leaking) that they couldn't find.

Did anyone get any backpressure or EGR codes after this install? If so will a finger stick fix these codes? Any info will help.
Thanks,
Chris.....

I would love to install mine but it STILL hasnt got here yet. :(
DrChris, From what ive read on here every truck throws codes but the federal trucks dont set off the check engine light. Non federal trucks from California for example will show the light. Finger stick will keep it from throwing codes and showing the CEL.

Dave01PSD,
My truck threw up 3 codes after I put the cat back exhaust on. I ordered a finger stick and also installed an Edge Juice/***. system. I was just wondering if the finger stick will help even if the downpipe is changed too. So no more codes up on your truck after the finger stick install. Also how do you like the AFE stage 2 intake? I was thinking about ordering one for myself.

I didnt get any codes with my banks catback so I havent installed the finger stick yet. I will most likely put it in when I do the 4" front pipe whenever it gets here.
As for the AFE intake it should stand for Awfully F'ing Expensive. Its a nice setup but I have a hard time justifying the $410 that I paid for it. I got the pro gaurd 7 filter with it. It looks nice and installs easy but I still cant get over the price they ask for it. I dont have any guages hooked up so I dont know how it did with EGTs.
There was no seat of the pants difference when I added with catback or filter setup. Truck just sounds a little better and a tiny bit more turbo whistle. I will probably add some power to it later but right now im happy with it.
I went from the powerstroke with 100hp edge programmer to the dmax. Its just so smooth and powerfull I hate to add some aftermarket tuning and ruin it. The edge evolutions transmission shifting on my powerstroke flat out sucked! It would take a lot of convincing for me to buy another edge product.
Have fun and enjoy your truck. I know I sure am.
