: Shift points in tow/haul adjustable?

I love the tow/haul in the mountains with the camper on. The only complaint I have is the 3-4 shift point is too high for my uses. It shifts about 42 MPH and I would like it better if it would shift at about 35-37 MPH. Is there a way to get this done. It doesn't seem to be learning this on its own. John

The shift points are set and cannot be changed without cracking open the transmission calibration.

How heavy are you on the throttle? Under part throttle conditions the 3-4 shift should happen around 35 MPH. Are you using stock tires?

Stock tires. I admit to having a light foot. That's why I wish it would shift at a lower speed. I have to drive faster than I would like when in the hills on twisty roads. It seems to shift at the same point, right around 42 mph, regardless of how much throttle.

I was hoping that the "learning" aspect would help move the shift point lower, but have not noticed any changes yet.

I realize this may not seem like much of a deal, but the truck works so well otherwise, that there aren't many things to tweak. So, I obsess about this to while the miles away.
