Left my house a couple weeks ago, drove 50ft to a stop sign, stopped, gave it some gas (normal amt of throttle), the truck lurched out into the intersection then seemed to go into neutral, check engine came on and the gear indicator started flashing. I tried reverse, D, and 1st no luck. Shut truck off 10 secs and restarted and its been running fine for the last 2 weeks. Threw codes P0700, P0732, P0841 A and B. The truck is stock except about 2" of lift front and back and edge with attitute installed 3 yrs ago and has never left level one except one run on level 3 when I first installed it just to see what it was like. It only has 44K miles on it and tows about 8K lbs about 500miles 3-4 times a summer. I think 0732 is suppsed to be the 2nd gear clutch pack or something but the thing never got close to hitting second? Ideas?

P0732 means it slipped in second. P0841 means the C pressure switch stayed off when it should have closed.

First thing to do is to check your fluid level.

How long had the truck sat before you drove it?

Just overnight. See thats what I mean, it never made it close to second gear, the truck rolled maybe 3 feet before it happened. Yea, I know its dumb but I havent checked the level. I put transsynd in it and have changed the filter all on schedule, the last time was this fall. I havent seen any leaks but I'll check. Thanks for the reply.

Where are you and what are the ambient temperatures outside like?

Kentucky. Its been very cold and icy here, like in the 20s. At first I thought maybe I was slipping on some ice at that stop sign and maybe that confused the computer or something since it ran so perfect after I restarted it and has been fine since, but I think thats wishful thinking.

I'd start with checking fluid level warm, just to rule that out.

You can also check your electrical connectors at the TCM and the Trans. The codes don't really point to a common electrical problem or bad solenoid.

don't panic, my '03 allison went crazy, no R , D , next time just fine, Replaced NSBU switch, thought i fixed it cause it was good for two days, but made mistake of letting GM try to figure it out and they had my truck 4 solid days before i got them to check my ignition switch, had voltage drop of 5-6 volts that goes to TCM and that fixed it. ally good inside, but too much electronics and sensors (I think)

Around 50 slowing down the rpms drop down to idle as it slows down around 20/25 you feel it down shift, any ideas?
Thanks,

Your transmission is acting as designed. The T/C is unlocking. Read the replies in the thread that you started on the subject. The OP in this thread is not talking about the same thing that you are.
