Trying to decide what to do when he takes the stock pizza cutters off his new truck.

I am picking up my GMC D/A 2500 CC later this week or early next week. I will be working some new rolling stock into the lease, and would like some pointers. I will be towing a 8000 lb trailer around 50% of the time.

Here is what I am considering:

BFG KOs, Nitto Terra Grappler, or Toyo Open Country in the following scenairos:

265s on Stock Wheels
285s on Stock Wheels

275ish to 295ish on H2 wheels

OR..

The crazy one that I need help talking my self out of. :ro)

Saw a conversion done by a van company called Majestic out of Saginaw, MI, it is called an Hx4. This truck has a presence, without looking like a bling only machine. I didn't like the whole package... But the wheels and tires...

It had 305/50/20s Toyos on it. They are listed at 32.89" tall. They also make a LT305/55/20 which is 33.2" tall. Both are 12" wide on a 20x9 rim.

Looked to have torsion bars cranked, and the bumper moved forward. Will other mods be required for 33" tires?

Anyone running something like this on a truck they actually use?

I will try to post a pic of it later today...

Thanks for the input, this is a great forum.

I'm in the same boat, Jay. The tires on my new 2500 SLT Duramax are the off road 245's. They look better than the stock 245's (in my opinion), and are great tires, but I'm also looking for a great tire in the 265 category.

Glad you started this thread. Good luck in your decision.

And I agree--this is a great forum.
