it kinda like a poping sound from the front end. almost a sound like flickin a empty pop can. its only now and then. usually i hear it after i back out of my driveway and take off forward. or if i come to stop at a red light and take off. its not like a constant thing. just a little pop here and there, but annoying.

also have a sound thats kinda like puttin your weight up and down on a sqeaky board on the drivers side. any clue where to look?

If its similar to a clicking, its something with the injectors. Its totally normal, there is a GM TSB out that says to do nothing and its a normal condition

There was a tsb about a popping noise in the front end when backing up. The fix was something about slotting the bolt holes on the back crossmember. You might search around or ask one of the techs...

its not an injector thing its some sort of a suspension pop

Nerf bars tight? Think I remember something about the forward bolt on some brands causing a noise that sounded like something loose in the suspension. Are these noises new after the turbo install? If so I always look for stuff I may have forgot to tighten or otherwise touched in some way. I think I know ...it's the elocker and N20 ...please remove and forward to me for inspection :)

nerf bars are on anymore but their brackets are, wonder if the cab bolt that the bracket is under could be loose

Another possibility is the rear driveshaft yoke popping back and forth on the splines. You can eliminate this possibility by taking the driveshaft down and lubing the spline. The fix might be only temporary however.

Also check the last leaf in the spring pack (helper or overload leaf) it makes a really strange sound...I could get the suspension to travel by sitting down and getting up in a rythm on my tailgate....after a couple movements the overlaod spring would smack the leaf pack making a popping sound.....I sprayed some plastic/rubber coat for truck beds on it and hasn't happened since..not sure if this is the sound but.......

I had it .... never figured it out. Forgot about it after while.

I think we have the same thing. The center caps on our tires seem to have a small gap, so at low speeds they rattle. We also have the squeak, figure it's just the shocks. We'll see here soon.

i thought that the squeak was from the rubber bushings on the springs, i have had several truck make the same noise
