Well this is my first long trip towing with the Dmax and all I can say is what a differnce between this and the old 6.5TD. Its and 04 LLY wih 34K miles on her. Have gone about 1K miles in he last 2 days and you just set the cruise and drive. Driving 70mph I have gotten 11.8 and 11.2 mpg towing my 26 foot 5th wheel. Today was a head wind and more bigger hills. Tomorrow we will be in the Colorado rockies.
I have run with nd without the Juice and so far other than from a dead stop I don't see any difference.
Now this is fun to travel and not feel like you have been beat to death by the end of the day.

How much does your trailer weigh? tongue weight? reason I'm asking is while i'm on the freeway towing....
I feel like my teeth are going to fall out of my skull..
Also I will probably put my name on a kidney transplant list soon as well..
OUCH....GEEZ It seriously hurts after about 30 miles...
Now once I get on an interstate it's another story.. super smooth sailing...lemme know

5th wheel will gross about 8K ruck loader 8K. But not really sure what the hitch weight is. It seems light because it will jump once in awhile in the hitch. Bed does not drop at all so I know its not much.

You are getting about the same mpg as I get when I go to Colo. pulling my 5er, 10,000 # ( + or - ). Wind makes a big difference though. Glad to see you like it.:) :) :) :)

That's funny:D /......
I know I know OK fine I'll step up and buy the bilsteins in a week after I get paid. Between my truck and new toy box both of which are bottomless pits, I'm completely torn.
It's my rear end that is killing me with my trailer hooked up. Oh MY GAWD. I wonder if it's my air bags. I don't even need them, I have them for "just in case". But even with all the air out it HITS HARD on the freeway, but then again it could be the freeway. I'll tell you this, there is no way in hell i could handle driving up the 5 North past L.A. with trailer in tow. That streach of freeway is horible. Anyone seen my kidney?
