installed a 4" MBRP on my 2002 CCSB 4WD last night. i noticed the exhaust is about 1mm to 2mm from touching the trans cooler line. that's after adjusting it...previously, it was resting on it. is it ok to run it like this? the only other options i see right now is denting in the pipe at that spot to clear better, but i'd rather not if it isn't necessary.

anyone? i feel that it should have more space, but other than denting in the pipe, i'm not sure how to achieve that. did anyone else experience this?

I have seen them close, but never that close. I would try to bend them as much as possible then wrap them with a high temp wrap.
