I bought the GMC TopKick 4500 on may 15th its a crewcab with a sick air ride supention, put a box on it and started haulin ass by the 24th of may. I now have 12,800 miles on it and Im getting a 1093 code. the dealer said it an internal psi problem and they will have to tear into it. whats going on guy's?
this truck is my job and im just wanting to know what to expect. Its shut down on me 3 times and will start and run after setting for 5 min. or so and the ,S.E.S. light go's out it only happens when im puttin the boot to it, geting on the freeway, but the first time it did this was under full pedal. The next time was a little less pedal, and less everytime it comes back. any thoughts would be great.

you might have better luck in the medium duty forum.

It's probably the pressure relief valve in the LH fuel rail. Does it only do it on accel or when you Reaccelerate after a decel. If it only does it on hard accel it could be as simple as a filter. They should be able to test filter restriction.
