I will be upgrading to the suncoast level 3 or 4 in about a month.:ro) I currently have the edge + attitude upgrade, w/ all the other options as well.
I would like to know what other box is better then another to stack to eliminate the top speed limiter, and also how "stacking" boxes is acheived?
(what process must one go through)?
Also, can anyone tell me how the new tranny communicates with the truck? My question has always been how the computer knows that there is new components in the tranny tp prevent "limiping"? (this might be a stupid question?)
Thanks for the help!

Alot of people are running the Predator stacked with the edge and getting good results.
The predator will remove the speed limiter as well as adjust speedo for tire size and enable you to view live data feed. The way that you stack is the you use a plug in type tuner (edge) that plugs in under the hood, and a handheld tuner to program through the diagnostic port under the dash (Predator). Ther are several to choose from and different people like different tuners. Use the search function and you will find worlds of info about tuners here.
Hope this helps you out.
I plan on getting the Predator next and stacking it
with my Edge.
As far as your tranny question, I will leave that to the ones on here that seem to know just about everything about them.

I take it you have an LB7. Get the TTS extreme and some guages. I know with the LLY the Edge doesn't like to stack that well. Maybe someone knows about this with the LB7.
The TCM doesn't know there are new components in the tranny. When they rebuild it have them reset the taps and the TCM will learn the new tranny and give you good results with a little time. The added pressures and clutch surfaces as well as the shift kit and tripple disc TC make this tranny rock solid to prevent limping.

One other point for the Preditor is that it will adjust the speedo, but it will not adjust your shifting in the tranny. The tranny is set for the factory tire size, but with 285's it is not that bad.

I have the digitial attitude for all monitoring purposes.
Were do I purchase the tts tuner?
Is there any special order in installation? Ex. juice first, then pred. or vice versa?
Does the tranny shop take care of all resets?

TTS is nice and then there is the Bully Dog stuff. They make a nice box... There are tons of option, do your homework.. Good luck..
