I'm trying to figure out how to hose off my Amp steps without getting water inside the truck. Is there a switch somewhere that lowers them without the door(s) open? I bought the truck from a dealer with 'em installed, so I'm in the dark.

open a door to let them down, put some weight on them and close the door. They will stay down until you open and close the door again

i just crack my door enough for them to come down. i wash them last that way i dont have to spray anywhere other than down

I just crack my door also to clean steps.I love how good these clean up with just a power wash with no scrubbing.
