A guy down the road from me is selling a 2006 gmc dually lbz slt every opition for 9,000 but the only problem is it has 635,000 km on it. it was all highway and it runs great, but he has never had any motor or tranny work done to it. I took i for a drive and it runs the same as my 05 with 110,000. I didnt really want another one but it is so cheap, can prob get it for 7,500

Diesels last a long time if well taken care of and at least you know him. An instructor for my HD mechanic course told me he sold an lb7 with 800,00km and the guy he sold it to just sold it with over 1,000,000kms on original motor and tranny... just 8 sets of injectors. But for $9000 you got room to work with repairs.
