Hi,
Everything is looking good except car audio. So he is looking to buy speakers and head unit and wondering what should he buy. Well, he doesn't want something extremely loud with a lot of bass. He prefers a good sound quality.

Any recommendation..?

What truck do you have? What is your budget? My advice for someone with a lower budget, would be to get an Alpine headunit, some Alpine, Infinity or Polk 6.5 in speakers for the doors, a small amp of really any brand, and a 10 or 12 inch subwoofer to add low end depth to the sound.

BTW, Are you speaking in third person, or posting this for someone else?

Is he you? I can't stand when people talk about themselves in the third person:iamwithst.

As for radios, I've found that sound quality can be rather consistent, but with aftermarket radios, the user interface is far more important. What good is a radio that "he" wrecks "his" truck over, trying to change stations? What good is built-in USB, if "he" doesn't own a PC? What if the illumination doesn't match "his" dashboard?

Why not have "him" put up several models of interest?
And "his" budget range?
And the type of music "he" listens to?
And what year truck "he" drives?
And whether it's a ext cab, crew cab, or "he" has a regular cab?
The extent of "his" personal library? CD, LP, 8track?

As a southwestern Pennsylvania native, I can tell you with certainty that you'd be surprised at what is still available there.:p:

I believe that Chevrolet, had one for the Malibu (60's) that sat on the tunnel in the front. I know ford had a model as well. You know your getting old when your kids say "what do you mean cassette tape, what is that".:D
