I have the Bose system in my truck. Im adding subs and an amp. Where is everyone tapping into the speaker wires for the line converter? Can I hook into the wires in the console for the rear audio controls?

HeRattle 02-11-2010, 09:13 AM The thing to do is buy an aftermarket radio with preouts. I have tapped into the speakers before, it will work but you will have problems with your fade and sound quality. I dont think a Bose amp uses RCA cables. At least the ones I have seen. The last one I did was 2003 though. 04chase 03-21-2010, 11:15 PM so what did you end up doing ? from what i have done it is better to use the pre out signal wires( non amplified signal wires usually from the head unit to get best quality ) just wondering which wires they are on an 08 lmm ltz with nav. | ||
