Hello.

What is the differ ens between an Throttle body sensor for C and J-code engine. They have different part number. (TPS on injectionpump)
Have an C-code engine with intake manifold from J-code engine. EGR is disconnected.
Is there anything to gain, switching to an TPS from J-code engine ????

Truck is an K2500 with Th700R4 trans. from 1991.

The TPS (throttle position switch) controls some functions of the transmission and possibly also the egr on a C code engine. In 91, there weren't any 700r4 tranny's in 2500 series trucks, so stick with the C code TPS and don't worry about the egr wires, since you don't have it anymore.;)
