I removed the Edge W/*** including the egt probe. I bought a couple of plugs size 1/4 and 1/8 to plug the whole on the exhaust manifold, untill I buy some gauges. My problem is both plugs do not seem to fit, the 1/4 will not grab on and the 1/8 will go in maybe 2 or 3 threads. Is there a certain type of plug that is required? If anyone has removed their Edge, what did you use to plug the whole on the exhaust manifold?

When I tapped mine I used a 1/8in NPT tape... so a 1/8 NPT plug should work.

If you used an 1/8" NPT Tap, a 1/8" NPT Pipe Plug should work.

Did you use a 1/4-20nc or a 1/4" -28nf instead of a 1/4" npt?
Would a 1/8" npt & a 1/8" nps be a problem? they both have the same pitch?

If you tapped with a 1/8" npt a 1/8" npt plug will fit just fine. Maybe burrs??

Found the right plug 1/8 npt. I guess i bought other 1/8 plugs with a different thread pattern. My mistake.
