Is there a simple way to test the vacuum system? I don't know that there's anything wrong with mine. I don't have excessive black smoke. But the turbo pressure seems low to me. I just installed gauges this weekend and I'm amazed by how much time the boost needle spends resting on that pin below the zero. It occasionally hits 6lbs then falls off. It sluggishly rises to 2 on moderate acceleration. Cruising at 40-50 mph on a flat stretch at 1500 rpm, it's pinned at zero. Is this consistant with anyone else's readings?

I put a "T" in the line before the wastegate solonoid and ran a hose to a vac guage that I placed under the wiper so I could see it while driving. You can use this to test vac pump and solonoid opperation. That was how I found the flutter valve in my pump was sticking.
