I insatlled it yesturday and tried starting it in a few different configurations. I think the one that sounded the best was letting it dump out behind the rear axel by the spare tire. would there be any problem with leaving it like this. Did anyone else try this and like the sound better.?

I ran the 4" MBRP also but just like stock behind the pass back tire. I see one downside on the dump behind rear axel with a programmer on. In that case you will cover the underneath of the truck really really bad with black smoke. Other than that it should be ok.

No problems at all besides the possible soot on the undercarriage. Quite a few people with lifted trucks do the same thing.
