Yes, this is a new post about the same topic - but a different brand/option. With the Kaydenco and Street Scene that I was previously considering, it appears that the flaps need to be at a minimum of 6" off the ground, and probably higher. I really don't see how this will keep the mud and rocks off the front of my travel trailer.
Cabela's sells Action Removable Flaps (http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/product/standard-item.jhtml?id=0019944521323a&navAction=push&navCount=4&indexId=cat20171&podId=0019944&catalogCode=QP&parentId=cat20171&parentType=index&rid=&_DARGS=%2Fcabelas%2Fen%2Fcommon%2Fcatalog%2Fitem-link.jhtml.1_A&_DAV=MainCatcat21412&hasJS=true) that appear to mount just a little off the ground. Since the mounting bracket is below the fender, this appears to be a good option for really stopping the crud from getting to the trailer. In other words, these appear to be soft flaps the ride low. Plus, they can be removed when not towing (and aren't quite as ugly as the RoadWing - sorry!).
Anyone used these!
