Hey Guys - been looking and cant find any threads exactly regarding this - How much can I crank the torsion keys before I need shock extenders? Or is this pretty much different for each truck?

Here's the deal, on factory suspension your shocks are already the drop travel limit. So no matter what, without extenders the higher you go the less travel you have. They aren't very expensive so it would be better to go ahead and install some before you crank. The rougher ride and poorer performance will soon overcome the novelty of looking slightly cooler.

I shock extenders really improve the ride on my truck. I would put them on no matter how high you crank your bars.

To answer your question precisly, you'll top out the shocks about with about a 1/4" of travel left to the droop stop. A 1/4" at the droop stop equals about 1/2" of travel at the wheel.
