I will be removing the engine from my 6.2L van for a rebuild over the next several weeks to address they bad lifter problems. Takes me a long time to do car work because my full time job takes all my time and I don't want to pay shop labor on the project.

So as not to be down and without wheels for the time I bought a used 1995 Chevy G-30 1-ton cargo van with 6.5L natually aspirated with 200k with new/rebuilt 4L80E trans for $1300! Ex carpet cleaner van.
No EGR "F" vin

It appears to be a mechanical 6.5L - no pump mounted driver and the like.
Very similar to the 6.2 in appearance. I wonder how they got more HP out of it? It really hauls @ss.

I'll post some pictures soon.

Zetan, somebody may have made some changes to the original setup because I just checked my RPO info and I can't find any mention of a non-electronic pump in a G-van after '93 model year. It's always possible because it's a one ton, but I'd look for info to support it.

Good find, none the less, enjoy!!

when Zetan says its a mechanical pump, i'm grasping that its a mechanical IP and has no computer or PMD on it
