I was instally a CST kit on my 05 GMC D-Max when I noticed the front DIff had no breather on it, my 1997 IFS chevy has the same plastic insert with a hose and vent tube for the front diff. Are all the D-MAx the same or did GMC forget to put mine on???????

There is a hose connected to the plastic breather plug on my 2002 Chev. I believe it is fastened to the inside, driverside front wheel well liner.

Mine has one, same as described above. Located on the drivers side, black plastic hose is mounted to inner drivers side inner fender.
