: Smallest BFG u can mount on H2 rim? problemchild 06-20-2005, 03:29 AM I want to buy some smaller tires so they dont rub on my mudflaps. Whats the smallest BFG I can mount (on H2 rims) with having weird tire wear (crowning etc)? Do any of you know where in So. TheMonkey 06-21-2005, 12:00 PM bfg rugged trail specs http://www.bfgoodrichtires.com/assets/pdf/rugged_trail_ta.pdf say that you can put 265/70/17 on an 8.5" rim. i am almost certain that h2's are 8.5" (as i have read several times), but i have not personally put a tape measure to them. i am sidering putting 265/70/17 michelin ltx as on my h2's... they are spec'd for 8.5" rims also, but am wondering if they will 'bulge' at the sides? deadfurrow? comment?
