I think someone should develop a water or nitrous spray bar for in front of the cooler. Misting it with water will increase heat transfer tremendously. Just be careful on the track, they don't like dripping water!! Thats where an N2 spray ring comes in, however, it will cost ya!! :)

Evo8's already use this for draggin and autocrossing from the factory.

An inline air-to-water intercooler would be better. Inline, somewhere after the factory unit. Would have to watch the pressure drop across the unit but one could be made. Wouldn't be as good as a single air-to-water but since retaining the factory unit, one would still be able to drive around without any issues.

Then again, just spraying a little nitrous in the intake might help just as much.

ive heard Nitirous in the intercooler it helps keep the intercooler cool.

I am not sure who makes the Best. Still testing the Banks cooler. Spearco for sure would be a custom jobbie.

the banks looks nice but they only sell it as the combo and i only need the cooler.
