Hello,
I just bought my first Chevy switching over from a long line of Fords. I bought a 2500HD 2wd Duramax Crew Cab. Is it possible to crank up the torsion bars, trim the lower bumper plastic, and fit the 325/60/18 on 18"x9" (4.5" offset) Helo rims? I do not know anything about the duramax, but i am in love so far. Thanks for any input.

I have a set of Eagle 18x9's with the Toyo Open Country AT's (325/60/18). Pretty much the same thing. My brother has the Nittos. They are definitely a WIDE tire. However, both run very well down the road. The Toyos are a little better on the highway, not as loud and handle better in rain. I only have about 2000 miles so far, the little bro has 7800. They have worn well, but then I check them often for pressure to make sure the centers don't wear out too fast. Anyway, just my thoughts so far.

The salesman that I bought my truck from was running the 325/60/18 with the front leveling kit and said he had no problems and recommended it. I seen the truck and it looked good, but can't say how it performed.

Out!

That's pretty much the same wheel/tire combo RyanU runs...
