Any of you have experience using tire chains on the duallies? Factory says no go.

I had them on front and rear. I was going up an icy gravel road, broke the left front chain, and immediately ripped off my brake line. Backwards down the mountain until the 6 x 6 stopped me. $7200 in damages. I heard later that chains are not for the front axle, and I agree.
