Looking to finally lay out the cash for a set of chrome Pro Comp wheels, 17x8. Has anyone had any bad experiences with Pro Comp's chrome, or this series in particular. Thanks. :)

I have Pro Comp 6001 wheels on my truck. I'm on my second year with them. The 2 problems I've had with them have been the chrome plating on the both the lug nuts and the center caps.

The lugs nuts lasted about a year before I got tired of looking at them rusting and flaking off. I upgraded to the McGard lug nuts. They have a life time warranty on them. Also the last time I washed my truck about a week ago the chrome started coming off of the center caps.

These will be replaced also under warranty. That is one nice thing about Pro Comp. They have a 3 year warranty on them.

I have the exact same wheels that you are looking into. I have had no problems with these wheels. After a year they still look brand new. I have pics in my garage.

Are the tires in the photos 265/70/17? I really like the combo and did you need to crank up the t-bars?

The tires are Pro Comp Extreme M/T in 265-70-17 mounted on 17x8 Pro Comp 6089. I did crank up the t-bars just to level out the truck, but if I hadn't I think that they would have rubbed.
